Calendar Function - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A1: Yes. Whether it is a jumping, semi-jumping or progressive calendar, the calendar mechanisms of the vast majority of mechanical watches start to prepare and store energy several hours before midnight. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you consider the period from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. for all mechanical watches as a no-go zone for adjustment to ensure safety.
A2: Even if the function seems normal, the gears may have already suffered minor damage or stress that is invisible to the naked eye. Although immediate repair may not be necessary, be sure to inform the technician when you have your next "comprehensive maintenance" so that targeted checks can be carried out.
